WHO WE ARE
Dr. Michelle Donald
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, cVMA
Dr. Donald worked as a respected Veterinarian in the Minneapolis area for many years before deciding to open her own clinic in the North Loop in downtown Minneapolis. She studied veterinary medicine at the University of Minnesota and is also certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture (CvMA). She feels lucky to have found such rewarding work and genuinely looks forward to the challenges every new day brings.
Dr. Justine Jones
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Jones attended the University of Minnesota for both her undergraduate degree as well as for her veterinary degree. She is Fear Free certified to ensure stress-free handling for every pet. She is passionate about cat and dog behavior, and optimizing the emotional health of pets and pet parents. Dr. Jones also takes a special interest in clinical nutrition, dentistry, and dermatology.
Allison, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
Allison grew up in Inver Grove Heights, MN, and always had an interest in animals. In 2016, she had the opportunity to work with rescued seals in Ireland, and from there the rest was history! Allison got her degree from Bel Rea Institute in Colorado in the spring of 2021. She is dedicated and passionate about the work she does. What she loves best is getting to know her patients, and each personality they reveal.

Kristi, CSR
Veterinary Assistant / Lead Client Services Representative
Kristi grew up in rural Wisconsin and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northland College in 2017. She has a special interest in wildlife, and while in college interned at a wildlife rehabilitation center in Lynwood, Washington. She earned Fear Free certification while working at Modern Love. In her free time she enjoys reading, music, and snuggling with her cat, Oatmeal.

Haley, CSR
Client Service Representative
Haley grew up in Pequot Lakes, MN. She joined Modern Love Veterinary in 2021, but had been a client for several years before that. Her favorite part of the job is giving out treats and pats on the head at the front desk. In her free time, she enjoys singing, cooking, thrifting, biking, and taking an exorbitant amount of pictures of her cat, Honey.
Lindsay, CPDT-KA
Veterinary Technician Assistant
Lindsay has worked as a veterinary assistant since 2007. She taught puppy classes for many years, and is a certified trainer through Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She takes special interest in dogs who have fear-based reactivity. When not working, she has a blast with 2 young children, 3 dogs, 4 cats, and working with rescue organizations.
Elle
Veterinary Assistant
Elle was born and raised in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. They have always had a passion for animals, including wildlife and sea life. They are a PADI certified scuba diver. Elle is working to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
